Comedian Vincent Mwasi Mutua aka Chipukeezy has landed a government role ,he has been appointed Assistant Director, Protocol and Events in the Executive Office of the President.
The news was shared on X by Head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy Coordination Dennis itumbi,
“Congratulations on your appointment as Assistant Director, Protocol and Events in the Executive Office of the President!”
Encouraging him to serve with “unwavering focus and passion” so as to drive success in the Creative Economy.
Chipukeezy has previously worked closely with the Kenya Kwanza administration working as an MC at some of President Ruto’s events.
Also served in the Uhuru Kenyatta administration appointed to the National Authority for the campaign against alcohol and drug abuse (NACADA).
Born and raised in Machakos County he has had a passion for arts from a young age acting in different plays during his school years,before transitioning to Heartstrings Productions as a warm seat narrator but his big break came when he became a regular performer on the Churchill show.
His career has sky-rocketed since .
