Legendary Kisumu Radio presenter Fofona Bangali has passed on.
The popular Rhumba show host at Radio Lake Victoria was found dead in his house on March 29, Saturday 2025.
Cause of death remains unclear although reports claim he had allegedly been unwell for a short period.
His sudden demise has sent shockwaves in the media industry as many recall him as a ball of energy with vibrant charisma.
Harrizon Kuuyo a close friend/colleague of his recalled his last moments with sorrow and disbelief as they had lunch the previous day,
“Fofona Bangali is no more..He has passed on.We took lunch together yesterday in town at 1:45pm during the marketing expedition. You left at 3:17pm to go rest on your house”.
His co-host Betty Opondo shared an emotional tribute recalling his low spirits before passing .
Fans and colleagues continue to mourn him as thorough investigations are conducted to confirm exact cause of death.
