The Wajumbe family recently shared a candid conversation with their fans, offering a glimpse into their growing love, future dreams, and some of the challenges they face in their relationship. Mama Jimmy and Baba Jimmy reflected on how their bond has strengthened over time, even as they navigate the demands of daily life.
In a rare moment of vulnerability, they both admitted that while they deeply care for each other, they wish they could be more romantic. The couple humorously attributed the lack of romance to their time spent on their mobile phones. Mama Jimmy revealed that while she initially wanted six children, she now hopes for four. “At first, I wanted six, but now I want four. May God’s will be done,” she shared. They currently have two children, Jimmy and Cynthia, and are open to expanding their family.
The couple also discussed the importance of their religious commitment, which they both hold dear. “I love you because you are kindhearted and generous. Most of all, I admire that you avoid speaking ill of others,” Mama Jimmy said, expressing her admiration for Baba Jimmy’s character. She also shared that he taught her to avoid gossip, which he finds repulsive.
When it came to romance, Mama Jimmy playfully teased Baba Jimmy about his lack of daytime affection, admitting he only shows it in the evenings. Baba Jimmy explained, “We have two small children. How can I be romantic during the day? We have to wait until they go to bed.”
Their discussion also touched on phone habits, with Mama Jimmy admitting that she feels neglected when Baba Jimmy spends too much time on his phone. Both agreed to work on reducing screen time and dedicating more quality time to each other.
Their open conversation highlights the importance of effort and compromise in a strong, loving partnership.
