Popular Tik toker Maria “Rish” Kamunge has been arrested for allegedly scamming Kenyans millions promising overseas jobs through her agency Trust Pin located along Moi Avenue in Nairobi CBD.
Emotions ran high as frustrated victims stormed the agencies demanding to be refunded.
Some claimed to have gone as far as taking loans and selling land knowing that they’ll secure a job through the agency.
Others claimed to have followed all necessary procedures required by the agency ,boarded the flight only to arrive and left stranded and abandoned at the airport and eventually deported back in the country.
Kamunge’s lawyer insists plans to refund clients are underway.
Calling on those affected to give their statements to the police.
Rish will be in custody pending further investigations.
