Global Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa savage has revealed that she has zero intention of signing any artiste, terming it as “stressful “.
In an interview she said”i don’t think I have the gift to sign another artist,because artists are stressful.I could be sleeping and then I will wake up and my artist is trending for something else”.
She is however open to supporting artists in other forms such as starting a music school.
And emphasized importance of Africa investing in our music eco system aso we wouldn’t have to rely on foreign markets for validation.
Her advice to upcoming artists:
“Cherish the beginnings and build a strong foundation so when opinions come at you,you don’t lose yourself.”
